When we take a holistic approach to singing we explore the voice on a much deeper level. We consider the interconnectedness of the body, mind and emotions and how they influence the voice. We pay more attention to posture, to breath, to vibrations. We give the voice more space and energy to move, and we allow ourselves the freedom to create and be more expressive.

 

In this 4 hour workshop we will engage with our beautiful and unique instrument through a series of exercises, techniques and songs, all in a safe and supportive environment. This session is open to all adults and no previous singing experience is needed. Our aim for the day is to feel relaxed, yet energised and joyful.

 

Arrive from 9:30am to have a coffee and say Hi (tea and coffee provided). The workshop will start at 10am and we will have a short lunch break (lunch not provided).​
